By accessing or using the website located at santeeasphaltpaving.com (the "Site") operated by Mainstay Santee Asphalt Paving ("we," "us," or "our"), or by engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Site or engage our services.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when posted to the Site. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Mainstay Santee Asphalt Paving provides asphalt paving, sealcoating, repair, and related contractor services in Santee, CA and surrounding communities. Services are provided to residential and commercial customers. The specific scope of work for any project is defined in a written estimate or contract agreed upon before work begins.
The Site is provided for informational purposes and to allow potential customers to request estimates and contact us. Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding agreement or guarantee of service without a separate written agreement.
All estimates are provided free of charge and without obligation. Estimates are based on the conditions observed at the time of the site visit. Final pricing may differ from an initial estimate if site conditions, project scope, or material costs change before or during the project. Any changes to the agreed price will be communicated to you in writing before additional work is performed.
Asphalt material prices fluctuate with oil market conditions. Prices quoted in an estimate are valid for a reasonable period as specified on the estimate itself. If material costs increase significantly between the estimate and the scheduled start date, we will notify you before proceeding.
Project start dates are scheduled based on crew availability and weather conditions. Asphalt work requires dry conditions and suitable temperatures for proper installation. We reserve the right to reschedule work if weather conditions make it unsafe or inadvisable to proceed. We will notify you as promptly as possible of any schedule changes.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or crews have been dispatched may result in a cancellation fee to cover actual costs incurred. The specific terms will be outlined in your written agreement.
Payment terms are specified in each written project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment in full is due upon completion of the work. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
Accounts not paid within the terms specified in the project agreement may be subject to a late fee and interest charges as permitted by applicable law. We reserve the right to pursue collection through available legal remedies for unpaid balances.
You are responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible and clear of vehicles, equipment, and personal property before the scheduled start of work. You are also responsible for obtaining any homeowners association (HOA) approvals required for the project before work begins. Delays caused by inaccessible work areas or missing approvals may result in rescheduling and additional charges.
If your property requires a permit before work begins, you will be informed at the estimate stage. In most cases, we handle permit applications on your behalf as part of the project. You are responsible for disclosing any known site conditions - such as underground utilities, drainage issues, or existing damage - that could affect the work.
We stand behind our workmanship. Any warranty on specific work is outlined in your written project agreement. Workmanship warranties do not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, vehicle fluids, improper use, or acts of nature including flooding, seismic activity, or extreme temperature events.
